AXIS delivers AXIS ATR 42-300/72-500 Level C/D FFS

AXIS celebrates the delivery of the first ATR42/72 Full Flight Simulator, to the new Training Centre of FARNAIR Training GmbH, a TRTO based in Neusiedl, Austria, providing pilot training for all ATR variants.

AXIS is proud to announce that this simulator was developed in close cooperation with an operator, Farnair Switzerland AG. It therefore incorporates many options and possibilities helping the operator to train the crews efficiently to a very high level of proficiency and safety. More than 400 possibilities of simulating malfunctions are incorporated. A web-based lesson planning tool allows the operator to create individual lesson plan scenarios and to upload them into the simulator from any location, thus standardising and increasing the quality and efficiency of the training.
In all areas the latest technology is being used including a highly ergonomic Instructor Operating Station (IOS), an electric motion base and a state of the art collimated visual system all helping to create the highest level of realism in today’s simulation.
A separate maintenance station, designed by AXIS, allows full systems and software control locally and by remote access. The AXIS simulator is therefore very easy to operate, requires less maintenance and provides level D fidelity.
A training device designed together with and tailored to the operators needs!
